We create products with humor, sarcasm, and some uncomfortable truth. We don't promise to change the world. We promise to say what everyone thinks.
Are the products intentionally provocative?
Yes. Very much so. If you feel uncomfortable, it's possible the message isn't for you. And that's perfectly fine.
Have there been any offended individuals?
Sure. They're usually the same ones who say, "Nowadays, you can't say anything anymore." We move on.
Who makes HalfSerious?
It's not a team. It's not a startup. It's not an inspiring story with an open-plan office.

Are the products really of good quality, or is this just irony?
They are truly high quality. The humor is sarcastic, but the production isn't. We work with cotton, ceramic, and materials that can withstand real use and washing. The joke may be biting. The product isn't.

Yes, as long as the product is like new. If the reason is "I didn't find it funny after all," perhaps the problem isn't the product itself.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. In fact, it's highly recommended. The orders arrive ready to give as gifts, because we know you don't have the time or patience for gift wrapping.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to Europe. Sarcasm knows no borders.
